The Montana Seed Trade Association (MSTA) announced on July 29 that two Fairfield High School graduates, KayLynn and Kourtney Coverdell each received scholarships in the amount of $500.00.
KayLynn graduated from Fairfield High School in 2014 and is currently a junior at the University of Montana Tech double majoring in Business Marketing and Management while participating as a student athlete in women’s basketball. Kaylynn is currently interning with Sherwin Williams for their Management and hopes to become an assistant manager, a manager then potentially a sales rep for a company in the future.
Kourtney is a junior at Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte. She is studying Health Care Informatics and plans to finish her Bachelor’s degree and eventually a Master’s degree. Kourtney is also a member of the women’s basketball team at Tech.
KayLynn and Kourtney were sponsored by Treasure State Seed of Fairfield. The twin’s parents are Mark and Debra Coverdell.
Applicants for the scholarships provided by MSTA must be an employee of an MSTA member, the dependent of an employee, a customer of a MSTA member or a dependent. The applicant must be enrolled in a two year or four year program and have completed one year of post-secondary education and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
