Stevensville man charged in double homicide

In Ravalli County District Court on Wednesday, Logan Dallas Christopher admitted to killing the mother of his children, his own mother, and attempting to kill his father on March 10.

It took eighteen minutes in Judge Howard Recht’s courtroom to change the plea from not guilty to guilty in the State v. Christopher.

Christopher, 25 at the time of the killings, was arrested following a high-speed chase that ended in Missoula. Wednesday, he also admitted to driving dangerously on U.S. Highway 93 and the streets of Missoula, possessing cocaine and attempting to sell it on March 10.

The release and bond details set on April 1 remain in place.

The sentencing of Christopher on all five charges will take place on July 15.
