North Central MT

Forecast Details: The first in a series of storms will bring light snow over the region Saturday into Sunday morning, accompanied by some gusty winds across much of North Central Montana on Saturday. There is the potential for drifting and blowing snow conditions, which can cause reduced visibility and difficult driving conditions. Colder temperatures and wind chills are expected to filter back into the area over the weekend and into early next week.

Snow and cold wind chills Monday through Tuesday.

Forecast Details: There is currently moderate confidence with regards to where and how much snow will fall over the area, along with how low the minimum wind chill values will drop by the beginning of next week. There remains some model differences with regards to how far north the second system brings the snow, and how low the temperatures will get over parts of North Central Montana.

Southwest MT

Snow and blowing snow Saturday through Tuesday.

Forecast Details: A series of storms will bring light to moderate snowfall to the area Saturday through Tuesday, along with the potential for some blowing snow as winds begin to increase over Southwest Montana Sunday morning through Tuesday. There is the potential for drifting and blowing snow conditions, which can cause reduced visibility and difficult driving conditions.
