Simms junior high and high school are celebrating Homecoming beginning on Monday September 9th continuing through Saturday September 14th.

The entire week is full of activities meant to induce school pride and just plain have fun!

These activities include dress up days! Monday we wear Pjs, Tuesday is your class TV show, Hawaiian for Wednesday, and Tiger pride for Thursday. It’s really fun to see how creative students get with their costumes.

Assemblies are also a big part of Homecoming week. Besides being really fun and getting students out of class there are games and other activities that bring school pride and a sense of community.

Then the weekend begins where the real fun starts for everyone. There will be two volleyball games Friday with the junior high starting it off at 4 p.m. and the high school ending it at 6 p.m. Then Saturday at 1 p.m. starts the homecoming festivities with the homecoming parade after which there will be a tailgate party with food and face painting lasting until the junior high football game starts at 4:30 p.m.

Following the JH game, there will be a high school football game at 7 p.m. That is the whole schedule for homecoming week at Simms high. We are excited to show you what we’ve got and are looking forward to seeing you there.
