Fairfield Fire Department Awarded Rural Community Grant From Northwest Farm Credit Services

Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award the Fairfield Fire Department in Fairfield a $1, 500 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant.

“The Fairfield Fire Department and I greatly appreciate the grant awarded us,” said Fire Chief Ben Rhodes. “We will put the money to use right away on updating our training room with the tables and chairs, computer and projector.” Northwest FCS is committed to helping rural communities succeed. In 2018, Northwest Farm Credit Services committed over $297, 000 to 187 projects in rural communities across Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Since the program’s inception in 2007, it has awarded 992 grants totaling more than $1.76 million.
