The Cascade City-County Health Department is thrilled to announce the dates for the 2019 Community Flu Shot Clinics! Mark your calendar for these opportunities to get your annual flu shot from the CCHD immunization experts.
Adults age 18 and older can get their immunization from the comfort of their own vehicle at the Drive Through Flu Shot Clinic on Thursday, September 19th from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Montana ExpoPark. Whether you have a car, truck, four-wheeler, bike or moped this is an opportunity for people to literally drive through to prevent the flu!
Those who are 6 months and older can be vaccinated at the Community Walk-In Flu Shot Clinic on Tuesday, September 24th from 12:00pm – 4:30pm at the Exhibition Hall at Montana ExpoPark. Patrons will enjoy a friendly atmosphere while they complete their registration and immunization. Then they can relax in the coffee corner and enjoy free coffee and cookies.
This year, CCHD will be accepting all forms of payments, including insurance, at both clinics. Attendees are asked to bring their insurance cards. With most insurances there will be no cost. For other forms of payment, the cost of the flu shot is $30, excluding High-Dose vaccine.
CCHD encourages the community to get their flu shot from immunization experts through one of these easy and convenient clinics. Immunization staff working these clinics have received extensive training in proper vaccine storage and giving vaccinations safely, and High-Dose vaccine will be offered for those 50 and older.
