“The Fairfield Lions appreciate the $2500 Community Enhancement Grant from 3 Rivers Communications. Their generous donation towards the swimming pool improvements was a big help in getting the construction done before the opening for the 2019 swim season,” said Lions Club President Kyle Woods.
As Woods accepted the grant he explained, “The Fairfield Swimming Pool has been a Community Asset since 1961. The pool building was in need of a face lift. A new roof and siding was put on the building along with new signage. Thanks to 3 Rivers Communications for being a great community partner in getting this project done.”
Also on hand was Lions Club member and 3 Rivers General Manager Dave Gibson, who said,
“3 Rivers Community Enhancement Grant program was put in place in 2005 to assist local organizations with projects that make lasting improvements in their community. We are very proud of our community involvement and offer assistance with many types of projects.”
Kevin Mc Williams, another Lions Club member and 3 Rivers employee, added, “We realize that many folks are committed to making this community a better place for everyone and we’re glad that 3 Rivers is able to offer this support.”
