Upper Sun River Wildlife Team Meeting Planned for September 24 in Fairfield

The Upper Sun River Wildlife Team will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, September 24 in Fairfield.

The planned meeting will take place at in the training room at the Fairfield Ambulance Station at 13 1st. St. South.

The meeting will be preceded with a half hour of socializing and snacks at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will get underway at 6:00 p.m. with a discussion of the 2019/2020 Hunting Season setting process and changes. The discussion will be led by Brent Lonner of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP). Lonner will be followed by the FWP's Katie Vivian at 6:45 with an update on the Willow Creek Reservoir Fisheries.

A break will follow, from 7:15-7:30.

After the break, Gary Bertellotti of FWP will address SB 341 Public Land Access Agreements. At 7:45, a representative of the U.S. Forest Service will give an update on the Falls Creek purchase. At 8:00, Brent Lonner will speak about the results of the Antelope Survey. He will be followed at 8:14 by Brad McBratney, who will speak about the Sun River Bridge replacement and support letter.

The meeting will adjourn after a brief wrap-up and setting the date of the next meeting.

The public is invited.
