His and Hers? No, “Cowboy & Cowgirl!”

Last week, heading out of town to a meeting about the Alice Creek Fire, I spotted these tables at the monthly Redneck Recyclin’’ shop across the street from Treasure State Seed on Highway 89 in Fairfield. I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of the unique furniture.

Owned and operated by Stan and Nancy Fry of Fairfield, Redneck Recyclin’ started in 2013. Nancy told me that, for a fee, they allow people to park their cars, RV’s and equipment on their lot for sale.

If someone wants to bring their own items and sell them, on their lot, during one of the sales, they do that, too.

Stan and Nancy can also help organize and run your garage or estate sale.

Their sales are normally the first Friday and Saturday of each month - April through October. The last sale for 2017 will be October 6th and 7th at 8AM.

Being “old school,’ Stan and Nancy don’t do texting, Facebook or Twitter - they prefer face to face or actually talking on the phone. Their number is 406-467-2385. You can give them a call if you have something specific you’re looking for. They will keep an eye peeled and alert you when they come across that perfect match.

I passed on the tables, but I did pick up a super-magnum-sized insulated drinking “glass” thats perfect for iced tea on a hot, smoky day.
